Norwich International Airport is situated 3.3 miles north of Norwich City Centre. Norwich is home to various offshore helicopter charter companies, such as Bristow, Bond and DanCopter. Noriwch also plays host to daily flights by KLM Cityhopper and Flybe. There has also recently been a large amount of seasonal operators committing to fly from Norwich with flights to Malaga, Bourgas, Ibiza, Tenerife and Malta with operators such as Thomson Airways, Air Europa, Air Malta and Freebird Airlines. Some of these flights are new for Summer 2013. Recent investment by charter company SaxonAir, has seen the building of the business terminal, which now provides alot of flights in/out of Norwiich. Norwich is also home to broad base maintenance and painting facilities in the form of KLM UK Engineering and Air Livery.
